I am trying to help my friends Richard and Derrick.
You probably have heard about Derrick. He is taking his boyfriend Richard to his prom in Georgia and got kicked out of his house by his parents. Read all about it here: http://www.lgbtqnation.com/2010/03/georgia-gay-teens-resolve-to-attend-prom-despite-threats-and-protests/
Well, now Richard has lost his only means of transportation and the only way for him to drive the 85 miles to go see his boyfriend.
I am sure all of you will be kind enough to open your hearts to our 2 lovebirds and consider donating a $1 or $2 to the cause.
We just want to make sure he has good and dependable transportation. Nothing fancy.
